Network Settings
General
Club Sentry can be simultaneously run across a network by multiple workstations. A separate installation of Club Sentry Workstation software is required on each workstation (as well as the host computer) and you must have an existing network that allows for mapping network drives with ODBC connectivity.
The workstations access the Club Sentry database on a central computer that all workstations have Read/Write access to so your first step is to identify the main (or Host) computer. The database can reside in any folder that is shared across the network. Typically, the Host computer is the one that is in use most often and is therefore on most of the time. You may use a dedicated computer to host the database but it must have a licensed copy of Club Sentry installed.
Once you have identified the Host computer, install the Club Sentry software on it and on any Workstations you have purchased licenses for. Make sure that the folder you install Club Sentry in is shared with FULL access on the Host computer.
On the workstations, have your Network Administrator map the drive to the Host computer as the S: drive that points to the "Club Sentry" folder. If you installed using the default settings the database will be in the C:/ClubSentry/database/ directory of the host computer.
The install routines will automatically configure the ODBC settings for Club Sentry. The following instructions are included should you need to manually set or adjust these settings.

In the following examples, replace your drive letter with the default S drive in the examples. Follow steps 1 - 4 in the Configuring a Host or Single Machine section and then:
